URBAN MYTHS -RED-HANDED-

A drunk driver was pulled over by a police officer late one night.

As hi was trying to walk a straight line, there was a crash from a nearby alley and the policeman told the drunk to wait while he checked it out.

After waiting about ten minutes the drunk decided it was silly to wait, and drove home.

The next morning the police officer knocked on his door. The driver stuck to the story that he´d been at home all evening and the policeman demanded he open the garage door.

The man obliged wondering what the policeman hoped to find. He realized his mistake when he saw the police car in his garage.

"DAVID" BY MICHELANGELO

The work of art most schoking to me has been "DAVID" by Michelangelo.

As everybody knows this sculpture is situated in the art gallery of the academic in Florence.
It´s 5.17 meter high. It´s a marble statue. It was sculpted from 1501 to 1504, it is a masterpiece of Reinassance sculpture.
Michelangelo chose to represent David as an athlete, manly character, very concentrated and ready to flight. The extrem tension is evident in his worried look and in his right hand, holding a stone.

I remember the first tjme when I saw this sculpture, it really shocked me because it´s a colosal, gigantic and enormous statue. I needed to sit in front of him and spend a long time looking at him.

I recommend to everybody who goes to Florence not to miss this chance of visiting DAVID.

TELLING STORIES

Did I ever tell you about the hobby of my oldest son Sergi?.
Twenty five years ago when my oldest son was 5, he decided to play hairdressers.
One afternoon my sister and brother-in-law came round to see us with their daughter Sonia who was 6.
After dinner, while we were having a drink and chatting our children were in Sergi´s bedroom.
We thought that they were sleeping because we couldn´t hear anything. However, the reality was absolutely different.
An hour later I went to see the children. I still haven´t been able to forget what I saw when I opened the door. They had cut each others hair!.
Sonia who had very beautiful long hair, at that moment only had one part of it, because my son had completely cut the right side of her hair.
Sergi lost his fringe, showing a big bald part of his head.
When I could react, I called the rest of the family "who were chatting peacefully", they came quickly and they had the same reaction as me.
Luckily hair grows.
It was one of the most shocking things that´s ever happened to me.

See you tomorrow.

UNCANNY SITUATION

I´ll explain you an uncanny situation.
This situation happened me days ago. We just were in Christmas days.
I was walking with my dog, when suddenly I saw a boy who take after a friend of my oldest son.
He looking at me and I immediately associated him with this friend.
I went up to say hello to him and I kissed him on the cheeks.
When I was next to him I noticed that something was uncanny, because his clothes were dirty, and the boy I knew who "is called Héctor" is a clean and tidy boy.
The problem was that it´s been a long time since I saw Héctor.
My surprise was that when I asked him "How are you?", he answered me that he was drunk.
Then I just gaped at him and I was conscious that I didn´t know him at all.
It was a terrible mistake.
I didn´t know what to do.
I decided to tell him that I was in a hurry.
I said goodbye to him. In that moment I felt so embarrassed of this encounter that I couldn´t believe it.
I assure you it´s a true story.
By.
See you tomorrow.

CHRISTMAS DAYS

For me, it´s difficult to explain my feelings about Christmas days.
In my opinion the great o vast majority of people don´t celebrate this days because of religious
beliefs.
I think it´s a tradition encourages for different vested interests.
Moreover all families seems to that this days have to love out of a sense of duty.
Besides people spent a fortune buying things that sometimes they don´t need.
Actually, I only find a positive thing this days, it´s the illusion and the innocense of children to get their presents.
I´m nonbeliever, and when Christmas days arrive, I have a feeling of sadness, because I believe
there are a lot of hipocrisy.
I´m sorry if with my point of view about Christmas days, I´ve upset somebody.
